What is Xlinux:
Xlinux is a standard linux systems that runs on top of a DOS FAT system.
No repartitioning, no formatting, no backup are required. Everything is
installed under \linux subdirectory. Booting by executing linux.bat. 
Back to DOS with CTRL-ALT-DEL...If you dont like it -> deltree linux...

Was ist Xlinux:
Xlinux ist ein standard Linux System. Es nutzt das DOS/FAT Dateisystem.
Ein Neupartitionieren, Formattieren oder Backup ist nicht erforderlich.
Alles wird in das Unterverzeichnis \linux gepackt. Booten durch linux.bat.
Beenden mit CTRL-ALT-DEL...Wenn es einem nicht gefaellt -> deltree linux...

X11R6.1, tgif, xv, gostscript, ghostview, gnuplot, mc, sc, fax, pql, ssfile,
cdwtools, cis ppp script, lynx, ircii, ncsa httpd, arena, newswire, rcs,
pcemu with Free-DOS, perl4, archie, xarchie, xgopher, xftp, udo, dcf77, casio, 
mpeg2-layer 3 de/encoder, pcmcia, mtalk (voice chat over net), speech tools 
tetris, xearth, xmountain, xpaint, gimp, fortune etc. etc. etc...
Also full Java Development Kit (JDK) is installed and ready to run.
Need app. 70 MB Harddisk space. Archive size in 20MB
Maybe at the time you read this, WINE and NETSCAPE is/can be included...

Also: microlinux; the system, thats fits on two floppy disk. Disk 1=Base;
Disk2=mc ,sc, pppd, httpd, lynx, minicom, ghostscript, irc, ftp, inetd, telnet.
Kernel 1.2.13. Disk 3 is GCC 2.4.5 plus binutils and header files...

Auch microlinux ist auf zwei(drei plus GCC+) Disketten von mir erhaeltlich.
Ohne GCC-Disk DM 15,-. Mit GCC-Disk DM 20,-. Keine Leerdisketten erforderlich!
